How to properly wash your teeth?

Oral hygiene is of great importance for the teeth and gums. The most common way to remove plaque, and also a way to maintain basic oral hygiene is the use of brush and toothpaste. It is enough to wash your teeth 2 times a day, morning and evening, for a period of 3 to 5 minutes. Every three months, the brush should be replaced with a new one. Even better is if you are using 2 brushes, one for morning and one for evening.

Clean your teeth with slow circular movements

Unfortunately, most people brush their teeth incorrectly, ie use horizontal movements. Remember: keep the brush at an angle of 45 degrees towards the gum line. Make slow circular motion, taking care the brush tip to keep in one place. On each tooth you should be keep about ten seconds.

You need to make slow circular movements to clean external surfaces of the teeth. Longer bundles reach the space between the teeth.

Likewise clean the oral (inner) side of the teeth. By moving the brush in the forward - backward direction you are cleaning the chewing surfaces of upper and lower molars.

RECOMMENDATION: Use inter-dental brushes!

When teeth are washed with a brush and toothpaste you clean just three areas of the tooth (out of five). The other two (between the teeth) areas are in need of special attention, because there are mostly accumulate plaque and food.

Because these areas are difficult to access for hygiene, it is recommended the use of inter dental brushes. These brushes reach the corners and the interdental spaces. Thus you actually control plaque in places that cannot be cleaned with sutures.

Dental sutures should be used in cases where there are tight interdental spaces.

To control the quality of brushing and oral hygiene in general, we can use indicators - different pills that stain the places where there is a plaque.

Healthy teeth for life

Having healthy teeth for life should be a goal to which everyone should strive and should not only be a dream. This can be achieved by brushing the teeth twice a day, using strings for teeth, proper feeding and regular professional dental cleaning at the dentist.

Professional teeth cleaning are a manipulation that is performed by your dentist and includes removal of all soft and hard plaque on teeth. Manipulation is performed with ultrasound devices, hand instruments, polishing with rubber, brush and paste. The impetus for the removal of plaque and tartar exist because they are the primary factors for Parodentopathy.

Taking care of teeth results in healthy gums, pleasant breath, white teeth and bright smile.
